Blog Post #L ... Chapter 12.

Change...That is a word I feel that I hear on a daily basis especially on the news and in the media. Everything and I mean everything is changing every minute of everyday and year. People, places and most of all technology. Technology in the classrooms become greater and greater as time goes on. Leaders in schools such as teachers  are learning to integrate technology in new ways and create change in their classroom.
There are 6 technology integration issues. First off administrative support and teaching style, teaching style is important to the students and admin support is not only huge for the students but also the teachers. Unwillingness to change favorite lesson plans can be hard on the students if the teachers are not willing to change things, but what can be done is the teacher making different activities and other ways of working on this curriculum. Reluctance to use technology in new lesson plans can be rough on the teacher when it comes to figuring out the technology but the students will love the new ideas. Use of technology as a reward or punishment is a great idea for students at a young age, the older the students get then the more the students do not care. Using technology as an add on to another activity can make introducing technology into the classroom a bit more fun and also creative. Using technology to separate students by ability groups can help the teacher learn who need to be with who or how she can arrange groups to help one another. Each of these methods can be useful in many ways to a teacher and most importantly a student.

There are different types of classrooms with different types of technology equipped in them. In my opinion every type of classroom can excel with technology if it is used in the right ways. Elementary schools not have computers in their classrooms anymore but when it comes to high schoolers they have chrome books that are used to work on. Most schools have computer labs and them they also have smart boards in their classrooms in which students can use as well.
