Digital Blog Post #A .......... Chapter 1.

Technology in classrooms
One,  media use by age. Statistics show that those under the age of 17 are being more exposed to technology and the used of the media. A lot of schools are turning to media use that is easier and better for the students to have all the knowledge at their finger tips. This chart also give us information about the average time spent using media now that it is becoming a regular part of our everyday life.

Two, educational use of  technology. Experts feel that technology can be educational in the classroom. I feel that not all students would agree only because not all are good with it but this has changed a lot in the last couple of years. This is also both beneficial for the students and the teachers. For example the students can work on group projects and research, teachers have the option to work on attendance, grading and also home-school communication.

Three, teaching tools. Teaching tools in technology is becoming a great thing of the future, and is only getting greater with time. When I was in school smart boards and projectors were the new thing and now my little brother is coming home with a mac book to do it homework and communicate with the teacher. This also helps the teacher individualize work for each students need.

Conclusion, There is a lot to know and to learn about these topics and all the new technologies that will be used and can be used in the classrooms. This will also help the students and teachers to grow and learn more in the classrooms.
